"This is a hidden gem that is beyond worth the drive. I was greeted with love and care. An environment to dream of. 50/10 I definitely recommend. Breakfast was made with love and candlelight. This is experience everyone needs in life.."

"I like the room that I was in, the view was amazing, the staff was great and helpful. The room does have stain, and some noticeable cracks. It not really sound proof because all you hear is muffled voices. The staff does clean the room daily. Outside the hotel there are restaurants, pharmacy, and mini-grocery stores you can go to. There is also a beautiful trail you can walk along. Overall it a 4.5/5 for me and the town has a rustic, home feeling to it."

"Denied check-in for 4 people when there was a double sofa bed & king size bed. I've stayed in other hotels in Spain with the same arrangement and number of people with no issues. They left us stranded the day we arrived for our two week trip with no choice but to book new accomodations somewhere else last minute that costed us thousands of dollars since they refused to refund us or offer any upgrades."

"The owner, Jordi, and his staff went out of their way to help me. He gave me a ride from the train station to his nearby restaurant, where I had a fantastic dinner. Then he dropped me off at the hotel. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. The front desk attendant was kind enough to drive me to the bus stop for my journey to Barcelona. I was most grateful to be spared a long walk. Muchisimas gracias a todos!"

"The most unique stay near barcelona. If you need somewhere quiet and away from the city its perfect. The entire property is impeccable. The owners and staff are very attentive to your needs, they speak multiple languages as well. They offer breakfast and dinner so you don’t have to worry about food/where to eat. The food options are amazing everything we ate was so delicious, literally mouth watering. There is a spa you can book ahead of time. I can’t wait to come back it was the most beautiful...

"Everything was exceptionally great for the price, great access to city and local area. Staff and locals were helpful and polite. Only note is kitchen/breakfast is closed on Saturday’s or weekends depending on booking capacity. Overall great place for budget friendly get away highly recommended."

"This place is very clean and the staff was courteous and helpful. It has a cozy porche and a beautiful courtyard sitting area to enjoy. The breakfast selection was excellent. It needs some minor maintenance issues, such as loose floor tiles in the room and the shower knobs. A couple of suggestions: an extra powder-toilet space for the second floor and a sink in the kitchen area. It's located within walking distance to Parque Güell and Sagrada Familia. "Staying at hotel America was like staying in a Soviet era tower block in Moscow in the 1970s. My room was very cold and I had to request heating to be put on. Even with the extra (old and grubby) blanket I was cold all night. The room has probably not been updated since the building was constructed so the bright blue bathroom suite with missing plugs was like something from the 1970s.
