Nice hotel, beds need improvement

The hotel was nice. The buffet breakfast was tasty and plentiful. We had trouble sleeping because the beds were not very comfortable and the rooms were not very soundproof. The church bell was going off every hour through the night and it would wake us up. We enjoyed the town and felt very safe here.

The spa was lovely. The room was nice and clean but pillows really uncomfortable. Also a bit strange not having a bar open all day, so when out by the pool had nothing to drink unless we went to the shop in the square first. No kettle in room to make a hot drink in the night or morning and breakfast not until 8am.

Charming, authentic Spanish town, cobblestone streets, tons and tons of shopping, cafés and dining. The hotel itself was adorable, if there was anything missing, it just needed a little table on the balcony and a fridge.

Though this property is 45 minutes outside of Barcelona, I found it to be quite nice, quiet and perfect for my needs as a solo traveler. Just know that the taxi cost to get to Barcelona is going to be about 70 euro each way if you decide to go into Barcelona

A jewel of a hotel. Rooms were clean and nice, but the view was amazing! Lots of beautiful outdoor spaces and staff were fantastic. Take advantage of the restaurant- the breakfast and dinner buffets were well worth it and delicious! Add in the thermal spa and this place is a winner!!

Great stay thermal spa is amazing and so relaxing. Staff all lovely, helpful and friendly. Only negative as others have said noise. We had a ground floor room so noise from hand drier in toilets and door banging closed. Having said that would recommend this hotel and place to stay.

I was looking for a hotel with a spa & pool near Montserrat for a free day at the end of a business trip, and I booked this place because the Expedia page says it´s only 17.92km from Montserrat. Maybe as the crow flies that´s true, but it´s misleading because the area is mountainous and it´s nearly an hour´s drive from the property to Montserrat. The property is actually situated in Caldes de Montbuic, which is a cute little town in the hills with a lot of volcanic hot springs, but not where I wanted to be. Apart from that, the property is not bad but seemed to me it is as much a sanitorium for people using the thermal springs as a hotel. Check on the map to make sure it´s convenient for you.
