"The Xara Palace Hotel is an absolute understated gem of a hotel … not least for its unique location inside the ancient and compact walled city of Mdina. There only are 18 superbly appointed rooms: ours was a spacious duplex with separate bath, shower and bedroom on the ground floor plus a sitting room and (very) private outside terrace complete with a jacuzzi. "Lovely b&b, very tranquil and peaceful, even though its in the heart of Mosta. Amazing room, and bed and bathroom. The staff were wonderful, and so kind. The breakfast was great, losts of vieriety, all quality ingredients! Had a wonderful nights sleep, and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for an escape and to relax. We had our 9 ur old son stay witj us, and they welcomed him and he enjoyed the quiet too and lovely pool. "
