Room was clean, breakfast was very good with lots of choices. Swimming pool was great with very attentive staff There was a constant damp/sewer smell in the main lobby and also in our room. Shower head was spraying water in all directions and when the shower was on the bathroom smelt of the same damp/ sewerage smell. Asked booking in receptionist if we could be booked in near the party we were travelling with and were given a room at the opposite end of the hotel without even telling us there was no availability. Overall poor customer care from reception staff

The staff were very friendly and kind. Great customer service! The breakfast was good. Loved that they had freshly squashed orange juice every morning. Also loved that the hotel is inside the shopping hall, so everything is in walking distance.

Our room was lovely. We specifically asked for a quiet room as we heard on some reviews things can be loud due to the club district. The staff were very accommodating and nice. The cleaner staff were very nice and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast and there were many vegetarian options. The indoor pool was so fun and nice. The rooftop pool has a gorgeous view of St Julian’s and we spent a lot of time there. It’s conveniently located in the shopping complex so anything you need is here. And if you are looking to party there are a lot of clubs in the area. Overall 10/10. Slay!!

We did not like that we had to pay at check in before seeing the room. The room we were given was not cleaned and we were checking in after 9pm. The lady at the desk would not come and look at the room and see the state of it, would not give our money back as we wanted to leave. The solution was to send the cleaners to the room and clean the bathroom and wash the floor and the Manager would help us in the morning. He was very apologetic and assured us he would have a new room ready by 3pm and that it would be clean. He wanted us to pack up our things and leave our bags at the desk til the new room was ready but we said no as we had paid for the room and now had to waste a day hanging around waiting to see if the new room would be acceptable. We decided to go to the pool to relax but unfortunately the techno music that is played very loudly does not allow this. The new room was clean and how you would expect a room to be with clean sheets and FRESH towels when you check into a hotel. The Manager and the Guest Relations lady were very helpful and made sure that we had everything we needed for the rest of our stay for which we were grateful.

reception and cleaning staff was very helpful and nice. the room was spotless and was cleaned every afternoon. would say that it is in the hub of where all the nightlife is, so if you’re sleeping earlier, there is a lot of noise coming from the streets.

Disappointing stay – friendly staff, but not suitable for a relaxing holiday The rooms are clean and perfectly fine, and the staff were consistently very friendly, helpful and professional. Unfortunately, these were the main positives for us. The hotel is located inside a shopping mall, which was quite surprising. We paid almost €200 per night for a room with a sea view, but the balcony was practically unusable due to the extreme noise: party music, loud people, traffic and construction. There is also very little privacy, as neighbouring guests can easily see onto your balcony. Noise was also a serious problem at night. We were woken several times by people talking loudly in the corridors, and we even had to contact security once because neighbouring guests were playing extremely loud music. In our opinion, this hotel is much more suited to young adults looking for a lively +18 atmosphere than to guests looking for a quiet, relaxed and comfortable stay. The breakfast was another major disappointment considering the price. The coffee was among the worst we have had in a hotel, the orange juice tasted like very cheap supermarket juice and was extremely sweet, and there was very little variety. The bread was sometimes hard or very small.

Really enjoyed this hotel. Clean, modern and in a great location with a shopping centre underneath and loads of places to eat nearby. Didn’t get to use the rooftop pool as it wasn’t the season, but it looks like it would be amazing in summer. Added breakfast during our stay and so glad we did – lots of choice and really tasty. Staff were friendly, room was spacious with a nice balcony. Perfect base for exploring Malta and we’d definitely come back.

Room cleaned daily to high standard. Staff very helpful. Good choice of food at breakfast. Hotel has started to look a little jaded in places, e.g. toilets in reception and mirror in bathroom. The family room was large enough for 4 with a king size room and a twin room. Did book on the pretence that the room had a walk in shower due to a disability but there was a shower over the bath instead. Our room on the 8th floor faced party central with numerous dance clubs drilling out extremely loud music from 10pm until 4am. Ok if you're into that sort of thing. Lower level rooms did not seem to get the same level of noise. The staff did offer ear plugs so obviously must have had regular complaints but these did not help much. Hotel populated with young adults there for sun, sea and clubbing so floors can be noisy at night with inebriated people shouting out. In short, if you are coming for sun, sea and night clubbing then this is for you. If you are here to chill then I'd look elsewhere outside of St. Julian.
