"Ranking in order of importance: 1) Bed and pillow were comfortable. The pillow was the right size and softness - not too big and stiff like some places. The bed was supportive. 2) Parking was underground and it felt safe. 3) The breakfast was fine - not amazing B&B style but better that the typical Holiday Inn fare. 4) The location is great! Easy walking to a fabulous restaurant just a couple blocks away called Oystertown. Also, just 5-10 minutes to Cannery Row. About 5 minute walk...

"Although the hotel is outdated, the hotel room is clean, spacious, has good size bathroom, and comfortable bed. We slept like a baby. The oceanfront view was spot on. Friendly staff. The property is walking distance to the harbor, Cannery Row, to shops, restaurants, and easy access to freeway. We will come back Monterey Bay Inn. Thanks for the great weekend."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Munras Inn for a weekend getaway. Loved the spacious Deluxe King Room with the vaulted ceiling & the cozy fireplace. There was a bit of an issue with the A/C... But overall the room & accommodations were great,would definitely book again in the future."

"This is a nice hotel with great views (ocean view side). I took off 1 star due mainly to the breakfast being a little disappointing. The pastries were small and seemed like the plastic wrapped kind you might get at a convenience store, and overall the options were pretty limited."

"I called ahead about arriving early and was told between 1-1:30 would work. We arrived at 1 and the lobby was empty. No one showed for about 30 minutes. Room was not ready so we waited another 45 minutes before it was ready. Other than that the room was large, clean, and updated. Their cancellation policy is non existent so make sure before you book"

"Helpful staff! I checked in late and forgot to notify the front desk ahead of time. Luckily they had already prepared instructions for me to safely get in. Room was spacious and perfect for a two-night stay. Walking distance to the Wharf and there’s a (free) trolly stop nearby to take you to the aquarium! Parking lot can be tight (we went over a long weekend) but even that they were able to assist us with."

"Super friendly staff. Comfortable rooms. Parking available, can be tricky. Theee was a bit of an odor in the room. I used some room spray and that was helpful. The room was clean, so I am not sure where the smell originated. Maybe just musty from age. But that would not deter me from staying there again. It was an overall good stay."

"The breakfast was ok. They only had croissants , cereal, apple and waffles. Croissants and waffles were bit fresh and stale."

"We have stayed multiple times in the past. Our previous experiences were great. This time, unfortunately- not so much. Our floor in the room was sticky. The room above is was loud, walking around and interfered with our sleep for hours. Pretty disappointed"
