"Ocean view, bottled-cold drinking water and breakfast are the best things about the B&B. But the room we had is a little too small for two people and the room has no air conditioning and it was hot to sleep until later night."

It's classic old school ceiling fan and air vents rather than AC. There is occassion airport noise. Hilos airport is close to town so you can hear it as many locations, but airport isnt that busy. "it’s a nice location, but there’s a lot of construction going on not only in the surrounding landscape but also inside the hotel. There’s a resort fee being charged every day and it’s really just a simple pool. Nothing fancy I wouldn’t say it’s really a resort. A resort really does have quite a few other amenities. "We had an enjoyable stay, we were received by Kelly with fresh delicious muffins, the house was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent, each day was a different menu with fresh baked muffins, fresh fruit, juice, coffee or late and attention to detail. "Older hotel, but very nicely maintained. Beautiful pool area and easy walk to a large number of excellent restaurants, park areas, and the bay. Room faced the front of the property and had a great view. Very eco friendly and offered free equipment use for paddle boarding in the bay across the street. As the building is quite old, some of the upper floors are likely not easily accessible if you have mobility issues, but the first floor rooms would be great. In room air conditioning worked well...

"Host was very nice and helpful at check in. Amenities were sufficient. Nice welcome amenity in room and much appreciated. Light on porch was out making it hard to see. Shower facility in room was different. No waste basket in bathroom or a place to put toiletries and makeup when trying to use the mirror. Everyrhing got wet in bathroom when showering.
