"perfect for a stop on our road trip, pet friendly is a huge plus, easy self check in, hassle free, clean & cool room. have stayed before & will again "
"All the staff at this hotel are great and Peni‘s diner next-door has really good food ! I stop here on a midway point to Washington couple times a year! "
"Cafe onsite and great food. The big trucks in the main road shook the ground, so other than that its very clean, staff cordial and easy access to the freeway. "

This towering volcano offers hiking trails with views that stretch for a hundred miles on clear days. Rent gear in town for winter skiing or visit crystal-clear Lake Siskiyou where locals cool off during summer's heat.
Don't miss this beautiful magical location. Be sure to fill some water bottles at the spring in the city park. Tastiest water I've ever drank.

My friends and I had a guided tour up the mountain. It was incredible. I've never had such a good tour in my life.

So many hikes to go on, so much beauty here. Lots of dining options given how small the town is. Wonderful crystal shops! Do your homework before you go on a hike, we found out the hard way that some roads were still closed due to snow.

Be careful about booking a hotel in Mount Shasta during the winter. Highway 5 may close or require chains or four wheel drive. On my stay the drive to town was hazardous due to snow and many roads and parking lots were barely passable.

Love this town and stay quiet often on our way to visit family. It's the halfway point and a lovely stopping off place. Very good restaurants in town.
