For one of (if not the most) affordable places to stay in Mt. Shasta, it is well worth what you pay. It is reasonably clean and maintained; perfect if you just need a place to sleep or rest between outings. Parking can be a little tight when the lot is full. I would stay here again.
Everything was great! Floor was not cleaned properly, so just a heads up to management. But the check in was very easy and convenient! Definitely recommend.
Comfortable, quiet, clean room. Ample free parking. Easy check-in. No frills room, but we didn’t need extra amenities. We searched for price and distance from our destination. This turned out to be a good choice.
I've been coming here for several years while our larger group camps nearby. The hot shower, A/C, morning coffee and refrigerator to store my food for breakfasts and lunches make it the perfect place. The bed is comfy and I love sitting at the little table journaling in the mornings. Friendly staff as well
Room was clean. Bathroom handle was loose and staff resolved the issue quickly. Temperatures were comfortable so did not need to use air conditioning or heat. Parking available right outside our door. Easy contact with office management. Daily service available as needed or desired.
The place was clean and we had a comfortable stay. It's convenient to the local town and close enough between Whiskytown and Mt. Shasta. Check in and check out was easy. It was simple and you didn't have to walk a great distant for ice or to your car.
The room was incredibly clean and comfortable. It was also quiet which was important for me as I was driving on a long road trip. Check in and out was easy. Highly recommend.
Hands down the best hotel experience we’ve had in a long time!
If you hate waiting at the front desk, you will love this place. Online check-in was flawless, and they just email you the room key passcode so you can walk straight to your room. My husband and I travel a lot, and we have never stayed at a hotel where the WiFi worked perfectly—we usually can't even finish a single movie. But the WiFi here is top-notch! The TV uses a Rukita connection, so we just signed into our Netflix and Prime Video accounts and watched our favorite shows with zero buffering. The room was also spotlessly clean. 10/10 recommend!
Very clean hotel, AC worked great, minimal interaction with the staff ( all was digital check in) the cleaning staff was friendly. Nothing luxurious here but did the trick for 2 nights!

The Pine Needles Inn is nothing special but it is a roof over your head and the bed was very comfy. I would stay there again.
This is an older property with some updates, very clean, we had an end room and it was by a residential area so fairly quiet except for the train that would pass by rarely. This was contactless check in and check out so we never spoke to a live person although we did see the housekeepers around the property. Room had all the basics, soap and lotion and shampoo and body wash and Lavazza coffee pods and hair dryer. Cute retro refrigerator/freezer (small size), and microwave. Heater was a little noisy so we had to turn it off at night. Chairs felt a little flimsy but did the job. There is a smart TV and fairly good WiFi. Towels were a little on the thin side but the water got hot right away and there was good pressure. For the price this was a decent place to stay, had to drive to get to downtown and the restaurants, the Starbucks and the market.
