"The room was ensuite and well equipped and we found the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of options. We had the full English breakfast and were delighted with the high quality of the bacon etc. The swimming pool was heated and was available from early morning to late evening. The host -Craig - was always very friendly and helpful. We plan to stay there again whenever visiting that area of Devon. "

"We very much enjoyed our stay at the White Cottage. We were made very welcome and shown around on our arrival. The room was nice, with two chairs as well as a comfortable bed. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided, including a flask of fresh milk and decaff coffee and tea which was appreciated. The shower was powerful and warm and plenty of towels were provided. "If you are looking for a vfm option in West Bay this hotel is the place. We had room 7 on the first floor, spacious, whirlpool bath and even a teapot. In our opinion 2 negatives for this room, the mattress was way too soft and the seagulls from 0400hrs, can't really do anything about the 2nd being near the sea!!! The breakfast is quality, great choice and only £10 per day. The hotel is not statebor modern if that is what you are looking for, however the atmosphere and staff make up for it."
