"This is a reasonably priced hotel in a more residential part of the city. Minimal parking, mostly street. I parked my car on arrival and then used Lyft to to go out that night because I knew there wouldn't be parking available late at night. Hotel was quiet, very clean, and unlike some economy hotels, didn't have any obtrusive odor of the cleaning products. All surfaces (shower, sink, walls, floor etc) were pristine. "The front desk staff were very freindly and very helpful. The location of the hotel is excellent. You can walk to the Gaslamp District and the Convention Center. Lots of places close by to grab food or a snack. The AC in the room was banging. We were freezing in a good way. There is nothing fancy about this hotel. "This is an unusual hotel, in that it has coded security gates to get in and out since it appears to be in a not-so-good neighborhood, but I guess that it is helpful from a security standpoint. The layout of the rooms is a little odd, but our room was spacious and reasonably well equipped. Parking is very limited, and is behind and underneath the hotel. The parking lot next door charges $30 a day, so be careful. There is a 7-11 next door, which is convenient, and there are several food...
