"The rooms were clean and well serviced. The bed was solid and comfy. The staff were very helpful. I saw people have had issues with the water pressure in the showers. "I had a lovely single room with a small fridge and a fan which made a big difference in this heat. My ensuite shower worked well. The toilet was outside the room..which was less convenient though. The room was on the first floor and I have slight mobility issues so that was a bit tricky but James took my luggage up and brought it back down for me..and I got more used to the stairs. The Guest house is clean and bright..and the owners James and Christine are lovely.and friendly. I hope to return...

"I found the hotel perfect for a short stay in Torquay. Only a 10 minute walk to the seafront and free parking just outside the entrance. I had a lovely cooked breakfast every morning with some extra treats. Really friendly place and I'm going back there in the summer. I'm using the hotel as a base to meet my friends who return to Torquay twice a year."

"Our room 172 was clean, spacious and included an en-suite walk in shower.
