"The Maresca family are wonderful hosts and their small hotel is spectacular. Antonio, George and Sal were attentive to our every need. Sal arranged multiple dinners for us and offered exceptional advice for local restaurants, shopping, excursions and transportation. We spent 9 nights at Hotel Maresca. "Very simply rooms but youre paying for the location. Great beachfront location with the beachclub directly attached to the hotel. Beach here is the best as not as busy as the main area. LOTS of stairs down but well worth it. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. "

"The views are beautiful, the staff are amazingly kind and helpful, breakfast was a good variety of continental style and the beds/pillows were very comfortable. All my “must haves” checked. The rooms are quaint and not fancy. They are very clean and all your basic needs are covered. Just not fancy and our bathroom was very small. "Very quiet spot in Positano. The only downside is the numerous stairs to get to the hotel. While this is the case for every hotel, this location requires more stairs as it is a bit away from the main beach and shopping areas. Besides that, this hotel was fantastic and the extra distance from the main area made it a nice relaxing spot. The breakfast served on the balcony each morning was very special and all of the staff were very welcoming. "
