"Clean and spacious hotel. Excellent beds and shower. Nice entertainment music. Nice pools. Good buffet. The only thing I didn't like is the fact we have to pay for water at the buffet. But this is the case with most Spanish hotels I think."

"Our stay at The Ritz Carlton Abama was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth, champagne on the terrace, and thoughtful touches that made us feel instantly at home. Every member of the team was kind, professional and truly passionate about what they do — special thanks to Isabelle, Carmen and Gustavo, who went above and beyond throughout our visit. The resort itself is breathtaking. From palm-lined gardens to ocean views, every space feels calm and beautifully designed. Our accessible room was both elegant and practical, with seamless access throughout and a private balcony that offered the most stunning views of the sea. It was wonderful to enjoy room service and unwind in comfort without a single compromise on style. Dining was outstanding — especially the seafood restaurant, where we enjoyed tender baby squid, the best paella we’ve ever tasted, and local wine that complemented it perfectly. The lobby bar’s cocktails and an impromptu rum masterclass were unexpected highlights. The spa was a true sanctuary. The therapists were lovely, and the range of treatments and facilities — from saunas and sensory showers to yoga on the terrace — created the perfect setting for relaxation. Accessibility was considered throughout, and I found using the facilities simple and safe. The Ritz Carlton Abama is a shining example of how luxury and accessibility can exist side by side. "The best place i could come for holidays All staff makes you feel at home Your surrounded by quietness. Very clean attention to detail There is a lot of ammenities on the villlage Bus 3 minutes walking from the house that takes you to Los Cristianos and you can exchange for another bus to closure locations. "Just at airport now after 2nd fabulous stay in Finca Vista Bonita. We visited St Miguel for 1 week at end of June/July 2024 and returned this time in 2025 for 3 weeks. This Finca is a great place to to stay if you hire a car to reach it and we really explored Teide, walks, Vilaflor (11km away, beaches, Los Gigantes (south), Guimar, Candelaria (north). We love the Finca's tranquility at night, star watching. Also many thanks to all for informal atmosphere, as team are friendly, helpful. Apartments are spacious and comfortable & well equipped. We were in Appt. Pato downstairs the first time and this time upstairs in Camello-I loved upstairs for stars, astronomy, full moon:) The small pool/jacuzzi is super to cool down & has very pretty view 😍 out over the garden. We would have liked a later pool closure time as often missed it when returning later as went out a lot more for lunches/dinners on this second trip as the excellent restaurant Asador opposite the Finca closed in 2024 (owners retired). The temperature in August has been very high this year so an AC unit would be a welcome addition but we managed with the fan and it is an ecological finca. Great to speak Spanish, French, Italian with staff, guests although Beatrix, Estelle speak excellent English as does the beautiful friendly tabby cat🐈 😻 but we didnt let her in:)! Next year we hope to try the massages,,some holistic exercises as well as explore more of Tenenerife. Muchas gracias, A la proximo, Laura & Craig. "

"Really pleasant stay. We booked Alma Hostel on the day was an hour's notice. Check in was less than a minute and done online. Key codes are provided within a minute of check-in. There are multiple private rooms, sizes vary. Our twin room had a small balcony. The apartment was clean, fresh smelling. There are 2 lockable toilets/bathrooms one big (2 sinks, big shower, tiolet, bidet) and one small (normal size for a small house) Didn't use the kitchen for anything more than hot water but had everything from ovens to hobs. Some people opted to make dinner with little trouble. Lastly, it seems to be a new, not on a lot of maps (is on Google) and a couple locals had no idea it was there. However, it's above the supermarket and the door is opposite Hotel rural Vilaflor. "

"An amazing experience- felt like we struck gold. A beautiful old, rambling building with lots of nooks and crannies. Simple breakfast on the terrace watching Grenadilla come to life. Comfortable but simple room. Small pool and terrace surrounded by oranges and avocados. Lovely staff. Well positioned for island explorers. "
