"The location was excellent but the shower and extra bed portion were too small for a grown adult. We had to bend down and over to go up the staircase and enter the door and the 3rd bed could not fit an adult or teenage child. The water from the A/C filled up a jug in the closet, it leaked into our room and soaked the floor, the bed sheets hanging onto the floor and our clothing and towels on the floor. "Beautiful masseria and super friendly staff. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and the facilities were clean and quiet. The apartment was spacious with a full kitchen. Note that there is no daily cleaning service and, as expected, the facilities are quite dated. This place has a ton of potential, but something is still missing to go from good to great."

"What a gem of a hotel. Only a 45 min walk into Monopoli for those that are interested (uber/taxis are few and far between). The hotel grounds are immaculate, littered with olive trees and colourful flowers. The staff are attentive, polite and speak excellent English. Nothing was too much of a hassle. Breakfast was excellent with a continental buffet and Bacon, sausage and a selection of eggs etc. made to order fresh. We also had a pizza from the pool menu and it was excellent. The pool area itself was beautiful and there are plenty of sunbeds available. The only downside, which it appears affected all rooms, was a light outside the room entrance door which couldnt be turned off. It wasnt a major problem but a little annoying when trying to get to sleep (although the excellent cocktails at the bar certainly helped with that problem). When we return to this beautiful part of Italy, we will definitely return. Thank you to all the staff for an excellent stay."

Wonderful hotel

"A bit difficult to find in the old city with a car. They also did not tell us that door would be locked and buzzer was not obvious. Otherwise room was wonderful in townhouse. Breakfast was terrific and Monopoli was the finest town yet on this Puglian adventure. We wished we had stayed another night. They also took care of our car and brought luggage and us to our room! Not that way for use in Matera where cost of room exceeded DFb"

"Wonderful property and super friendly staff. Highly recommended place to stay. The only tricky part was parking but you will run into this everywhere in the city. Just be prepared. Room was big, very clean, everything was new and working great. Quiet place to sleep and very convenient location. "
