"Basic hotel, Very nice staff, excellent breakfasts, busy area, walkable to Copacabana/Leme beach. Did not feel unsafe, and in fact Rio is safer than most Americans believe unless you go into the hillside neighborhoods or certain sections near the Microcenter. "
