"The hotel opened two days ago the hotel room door all you had to do was push on it to get past the lock. There really isn’t any hot water when you take a shower it gets a little warm and then back to freezing. There are no coffee makers in the rooms and they’re supposed to be non-smoking, but they have extra blankets with cigarette burns in them. lol we are swimming pool. Children had thrown rocks in there and the step out of the pool needs an extra ladder. It’s so high I don’t think an elderly...

"The absolute worst place I’ve ever stayed in fact I didn’t even stay. I just got there. I tried to take a shower and in the middle of the shower the water started spitting out brown water. I left and had to rent a different room at a different hotel. They wouldn’t even refund my money."

"We absolutely loved our stay at The Orchard House Inn! It was lovely and full of charm and character. Just what one would expect from Freeport, Maine! Our room was very comfortable, charming, and welcoming. The shower was a bit small but adequate. We stayed in the "Downstairs King Bedroom" (we called it the Book Room) and the bed was so comfortable! It was our best night's sleep on the entire trip! The healthy complimentary breakfast was very good, which we enjoyed at one of the picnic...

"Room wasn't all that clean, pool closed, when showering water smelt, shower handles broken, hard to turn on and off water, you burned yourself, one staff incredibly rude about my kids getting waters for all of us i paid for 3 nights there was four of us 1 water per person so i wasnt able to get a water ...they were getting it for me and my other child. Fridge was freezing all my drinks and food. Remote to TV did not work. You serve breakfast but its always the same nothing different. Will not be...

"Avoid at all cost. Three different rooms, and just as disgusting and dirty. Room one had toe nails clipping on floor, dead bugs, hair etc. second one had used bed sheets with what can only be described has bodily fluids and hair in them. The smell of mould and wet dog. Never stay!!!!!!!"

"Perfect location near Main Street but quiet. Next to park where they apparently have outdoor music in summer. Seems welcoming to dogs but not overrun with them. Will bring our dog next time!"
