Room is very dated. Walls show need of refacing. Room was very clean, bathroom very clean, heat excellent. Environment feel was okay. Night before we rented a room next door at Quality Suites for the same price and what s difference! Complementary water, fire place, pictures on wall, much warmer environment. For the same $ go Quality Suites!

Easy to get to. Checkin and checkout was smooth. The room was clean and ready when we got there. Staff is friendly. Furniture is a little outdated, heater is very loud and toilet is loud when flushed.

To be clear, this establishment presents as an older lodge that has done well maintaining appearance and providing good service with the part of the environment they can control. Adjacent areas don't reflect well on the business.

The Econo Lodge was clean and tidy and the rooms were comfortable. The breakfast was good and it was a short drive to Bates College.
