"We've stayed here several times... myself, my 2 teen boys and our Newfoundland doggo. The building is on the older side, but decently maintained. The staff is super helpful and wonderful to interact with if needed. The housekeeping staff are very friendly and thorough. The chairs on the top of the hill behind the hotel are an excellent place to relax and the view of Monument Mountain is spectacular from there! If you enjoy hiking, access to the trails on Monument Mountain are just down...

"I'm house-hunting in Hudson, so my wife and I have stayed in a few other hotels and B&Bs there. However, one night in Pocketbook and I'll definitely continue booking there. "Ok beautiful hotel but somewhat strange. You are not close to town yet there is no bar area or restaurant in the whole place? Exceptional decorated lobby and many areas to get together but without food/bar just not used by anyone in when we were there. You felt like you were in a quiet spa not a hotel. They do serve an excellent breakfast though."
