"The check in was quite painless. Very nice people, quite efficient. Room was lovely. If you are lucky to get a garden view, request it in your reservation, it is beautiful. It is close to a senior village, and a lot of paramedic and fire trucks drove by which was quite noisy, especially if you were in building B not facing the garden. Beds were comfortable if a little on the older side, and everything was clean and comfortable. Be aware that the units they use for AC/Heating can be a little...

"Loved staying at the Queen Mary, takes you back in time, this ship also reminds me of my first time cruising from Europe to NYC on the SS United States, so for me the nostalgia on being on these older ships are definitely worthwhile. Brings me to running down the hallways, watching movies, going swimming as a youth,. The room and the open porthole was wonderful. The bed was comfortable, loved seeing the telephones inside the stateroom and the polished wood. And the food served there...
