"Unfortunately, the property did not meet reasonable cleanliness or maintenance standards. On arrival, the oven and hob were visibly dirty with grease and residue, and the kitchen overall did not appear to have been properly cleaned. There was no bin provided anywhere in the property, only loose bin bags left for guests to manage waste themselves. The bathroom showed visible mould around the shower area. "Stayed previously at the mill 2 years ago. We like the location and it has on site parking £12 pn. Staff helpful and friendly. You have to pre book breakfast time , breakfast food was fine. I upgraded the room, not sure it was worth the extra 40. They provide a small fan but it’s not really adequate as there is no ac. The bathroom was clean but needed updating , you had to keep the flush button pressed in to flush the toilet I did mean to inform the reception but I forgot on checkout. The downside to this stay was no toiletries in the bathroom I had to go and buy shampoo and conditioner as I obviously didn’t read the write up . I’m sure it previously had these items . Would stay again because of the location ."

"The room was a good size for our family of two adults and two children, with two double beds. Everything in the room was great. As the rooms have been renovated within a historic building, some of the power sockets are in slightly awkward places and can be a little difficult to reach when using a hairdryer or charging devices. Overall, we had a great experience, especially because of the interior design, which blends the old and new beautifully. The buffet breakfast was also very good quality, and the interior design of the restaurant was fantastic."
