"I wouldn’t really say I’m a fussy person, I can put up with a lot and I’m quite resilient but my ‘stay’ at The Jersey Arms hotel was a very good way to force some impromptu character development and really make me contemplate a lot of my life choices. "Rooms were tired and cramped. Water to too hot , taps that did not turn easily. No way to contact reception unless you went down to the desk. The staff were all very helpful, no issues with the service . "

"Had all the essentials, good location and good shower. The bed was unfortunately very hard and uncomfortable and there was a constant whirring sound in the room a bit like a faint extractor fan. It just wouldn't stop and, as a light sleeper, made it difficult to get to sleep. Our room was also next to reception and early in the morning we could hear all the conversations going on at the reception desk and in the breakfast area. "Wonderful stay at the George. The room are beautifully decorated , clean and warm. The staff without exceptions were all friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and the service excellent. I have nothing bad to say and would highly recommend."

"I had really bad experience to stay there. One of the things I don't understand why they took away room phone. You can get room service at all. You can not contact front desk from your room at all. Really bad idea. Room was not clean. room was cold. We have been offered a heater but out of power right after I plugged in."

"Unfortunately the duvet had a very bad odor. I tried putting a towel over it but still could smell a very bad stench. Thankfully flipping the head side and feet side worked. It was jus a night so didn’t bother telling the staff. The staff was very courteous and tried to be helpful. "

"A lovely hotel, centrally located in Banbury. The hotel Inc reception, corridors and rooms were immaculate and fresh. Parking was readily available and free. We opted for the buffet breakfast option which was excellent value. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. I totally recommend this hotel"
