"The hotel seemed a little “rundown” but it was secure, mostly clean, had a pool, and a great price! There was a huge gap the whole way around the door and no black out curtains so it didn’t get very dark in the room at night. We were in room one and could hear a lot of road noise but that isn’t the fault of the hotel, just an FYI. I received the gate and room codes via email and had zero issues. When booking your room, make sure you choose to have parking included. I would stay here if I were in New Orleans again!"

"The reason it’s priced low is because of the condition of the hotel. The staff were very nice, WiFi was spotty but that’s in most hotels and if your in NOLA you are not in the hotel much anyways besides to sleep so this provided exactly that. I traveled solo and had no issues. Do not stay here if you are expecting luxury."

"I stay in a different hotel each time I go to Nola. This time it was rathbone. I knew the location would be ok. And it was. Addressed took us to wrong building. Office is across the street. Fine. Not unusual in Nola. We got the furthest room in the back. View was dug up septic pipes. Job has been done but ground still hasn’t been put back right. I understand maintenance is needed but it was mentioned at all. Even just to apologize for having a view of an orange vinyl caution fence. Maybe there wasn’t other rooms available but would have been nice to been made aware some how. Room was nice. Clean. Shower was nice! Real nice compared to some In the older hotels I usually stay in. I love old hotels. Our room wasn’t original to the property but still cool little spot. Locked gate also so I’m we did feel safe. If you’re looking to stay just outside of the FQ this would work."
