The beds are very comfortable, and the photos of the room are accurate. We got norovirus, and the host hired a company to clean our room, which we felt was very responsible. Absolutely would stay again.
Liked that the owner was available and made sure we had all the important information accessible before arrival. I would have liked to maybe have access to recommendations of staples to visit in the neighborhood!

Great value for the cost. Self check-in was super convenient, and the neighborhood is the best in CDMX in my opinion. Don't expect it to be spotless, the soap ran out during our stay, and a few of the washroom fixtures were loose or broken, but none of this was a big problem for us since the room was pleasant and the price was right.
We loved Condesa House! We had a spacious room with a large kitchen. The design and art are fascinating and gorgeous. We had plenty of space in our own apartment, but it was nice to also have access to the shared living room, dining room, and kitchen. Moreover, the location is terrific: lots of good restaurants, bars, cafes, and bakeries nearby.
The staff were very helpful and kind. The space was very nicely designed and it was very comfortable. The only thing I would say is that when I booked the room on Nov 4th, provided my credit card I thought I was being charged the $69 plus tax which was $73 or $$74 but ended up being charged over $90, it is not much but I think that if you are told that the cost you would pay that amount not more. I provided my credit card to pay for the room when I reserved as this has happened before. I was quite surprised that even though I thought that I had paid for the room I had not. Not good business Expedia.
Great service and clean facilities. The location is ideal to explore beautiful Condesa and beyond. The rooms are a bit rough around the edges but it's really good value for money.
The area is very nice and is very quiet, the bathroom was nice too. However, I didn’t like the fact that our bedroom doesn’t have windows to the street, but to the living-room, and this is a bedroom that do not offer AC, so I feel that floor fans are not enough if you don’t have proper ventilation, minimum a ceiling fan. Besides that, everything was fine.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Condesa House. It was our first visit to CDMX, which we loved and would like to visit again. The location is very convenient. There's lots to see within easy walking distance, eg. Chapultepec Park (with Chapultepec Castle, the Anthropology Museum, the Museum of Modern Art, Chapultepec Lake, etc.) is only a 30 minute walk away, and there are plenty of good dining options as soon as you step outside the door. The Condesa neighborhood itself is vibrant and very walkable.
Our room (queen bed with private bathroom) was eminently satisfactory and we felt it was good value for the money. We liked the balcony, which featured a couple of comfy chairs, and would sit outside with a cold cerveza once back from walking around the city for hours. The building itself is older, and as such, could use a few small repairs, a bit of paint here and there, etc., but nothing major. The main kitchen on the ground floor was well equipped though poorly lit -- it could really use some better lighting. But there are some neat design features, the gold-coloured monkeys on the walls, etc.
Communication with the host was easy and we found him to be very responsive to our messages. For example, when we first checked in, we found a small pool of water in the bathroom from a leaking pipe. Our host had it promptly repaired and took the extra trouble to arrange for the plumber to arrive while were out exploring the city.
We would recommend Condesa House to friends.
Very convenient location, comfortable bed and pillows.

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities
