"I was a bit apprehensive, as on previous visits to Cdmx, we’d stayed at the FS & St. Regis. We found Casa Tenue had the feel of a boutique property. We very much enjoyed our stay & were well taken care by Jorge. He is personable & professional. Our room was lovely & felt unique. The amenities were more than fine for us - Rosetta baked goods in the AM & pre-dinner Mescal. The location is fabulous! Absolutely would come back in the future. "

"I was billed twice for this stay. To 2 separate bank accounts. I contacted the property expecting a prompt refund of 1 of the 2 payments, but they disputed them, even after I sent clear photos of both charges in both banking apps. I've begun a dispute with one of the 2 banks, and it'll probably take a month to resolve the double charge. Expedia were unable to assist because this was a "pay at property" stay. Very unimpressed. Will not stay again."

"The staff and the property were both excellent and in a nice location about ten to fifteen minutes walk from the center of Coyoacan. The only issue was sharing a bathroom which was relatively minor. Aside from that it was a great place!"

"Owner was great. He was helpful and honest. I did not think I had paid yet and he absolutely could have charged me again but did not. As a note though, he speaks predominantly Spanish so this may not be the place to stay if you don't. My only complaint is that the hot water was inconsistent and when it worked it took almost 10 minutes to heat up. There was also no AC, but that is typical for the region."
