"Beautiful 14th century villa in the Tuscan hills with very pretty pool and restaurant areas, and very helpful and friendly staff. The food was hearty and enjoyable, but not the highest standard, even compared to restaurants in the area. It's in a great location for exploring Florence, Chianti region and Siena. The room we used (superior garden view) was good, very interesting features due to the age of the property, with a stunning view. However, it was not very cosy for spending time in and the...

"The property is clean and lovely. It is set in the middle of the Tuscan countryside which is beautiful beyond words. The room was quaint and comfortable and the bed was comfortable. There is nothing close to this place but vineyards and olive trees, so you will want a car. We saw a deer running along the side of the road. The nearest major city is Sienna, which is 15 minutes away and which you do not want to miss seeing.
The hotel has a nice restaurant that opens for breakfast, lunch, and...

The staff is very helpful and wonderful and will go above and beyond to make your stay very welcomed and comfortable. They accommodated us even when we were checking out and stored our luggage while we waited to check into our new destination. We were even given little goodie bags. Our room was...

"On the previous rating and comments that we were requested, there were enough space, so si wanted to add that the hotel was very generous with the mini bar.
The breakfast service was more present during the 2nd morning, but you can tell that some staff were not trained for this line of work.
From how to hand a spoon to a guest to clear plates during the meal (you pretty much had to do it by yourself).
The check-out process went well with a couple of gift to apologize for the short coming.

"We cannot say enough good things about this hotel because everything exceeded our expectations. They truly embody the art of hospitality. The owners referred to us by name which made it feel very personal and intimate. The decor in the rooms is artistic. The breakfast offerings were varied ranging from delicious coffee, quiches, a range of pastries to yogurt and all the toppings. They even helped with luggage upon arrival and departure. This is a true gem!,"

"Muy lindo hotel, bien mantenido, con excelente ubicación en la plaza principal de San Giminiano. Dejamos el auto estacionado en un parking a unos 400 metros e ingresamos caminando, ya que es zona de tráfico limitado. Desayuno muy rico y casero. "Hotel and room are good for one or two nice day. Balcony room had a nice view..
My only negative and caution is regarding the on-site restaurant. Although, in it by itself, it could be considered a decent restaurant, but considering all the really excellent restaurants around it’s quite subpar for this town. With a group of 11 persons that have been traveling in Italy for a week the l general consensus was that the restaurant was OK, but nothing memorable or exceptional. And that situations...
