I needed a place to stay in Medellin for 2 nights and chose this hotel. Hotel is small with only a handful of rooms. All rooms are brightly colored, pretty comfortable and have the basics (TV, small fridge, a/c, hot water). Some of the rooms are close to others so noise carries! Very nice staff and decent breakfast included in the morning. Price is pretty decent and would stay here again.
Desayuno servido variado y rico.
Nice and very friendly staff. Like the name : colorful very nice modern rooms. Breakfast area beautiful with in and outside seating. Green tree lined hilly area.
Wonderful boutique hotel a block away from all the restaurants in El Poblado, yet on a very quiet street. The hotel service was great (great job Gustavo!), the breakfast was very delicious and fresh, and my room was very well kept. The only issue was the room door was VERY thin, so I could hear any noise from the reception at night. If they simply change the doors to thicker ones, that should solve the problem I think
It was average. Internet didn't work so I had to spend 4 hours in a public park to get free Internet. The hotel will literally charge you for everything. I would probably be more positive if not for the Internet problem and no one spoke any English which is surprising since it's located in the part of the city where the English tourist stay.
My partner and I spent 4 days at the Kolor Hotel Boutique. It's a clean, nicely decorated hotel right next to the popular El Poblado district in Medellin. For this reason, I would recommend this hotel to others but only if you speak some Spanish, as some hotel reception staff do not speak any English.
In my opinion this is a hotel just for couples with open concept washroom and I was in a business trip so may be was my mistake but I wont go there anymore

Questionable!!!
We had money stolen out of our room and then not treated very well !!! It was amazing how it was dealt with !!! At one point I the victim was made out to be the accused only because I went into my room !!! I come from a tourist city and was dealt with in a very unprofessional way!!! Really was an eye opener !!! Sad to say !!!
Overall the hotel looked nice the one night we were there. But the overall experience was atrocious. We booked three rooms at the hotel only to arrive and be told that there are no rooms available as they had overbooked. They then told us that they tried the best they could to get us another room at another but were unable to. So they shuttled us to an "apartment" that we could use for two nights. Needless to say the apartment was straight out of a horror movie. The stairs were broken, the utilities in the room were not working, and the decor was from 1965.
45 minutes later the hotel called back saying that had one room available for all three of us if we wanted to share. We reluctantly accepted as we would rather sleep in a place where we felt safe. That evening I found a new hotel to stay in for the rest of the week (even though the hotel staff said they couldn't) and we checked out the next day. The hotel staff still insisted that we pay for one night stay. Which is fine and all we did use the room. But the hassle they put us through warranted at least a discount.
