"From the moment of our arrival the staff were attentive and courteous. Our suite overlooked the sea and mountains and everything had been laid on for our convenience and enjoyment during our stay. The private onsen was a luxury along with the beautiful robes we were given to wear and the toiletries on display. The dinner and breakfast were both exceptional and a culinary experience "

"The hotel has excellent facilities, in particular with private outdoor hot spring water bath, which is very enjoyable. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is excellent, but little too expensive. The hotel also has shuttle bus to the train station. Some facilties need proper maintainence, such as basin. Cleaness could be improved. Overall, this is a good hotel."

"The impression I had of the hotel staff was very good, but the response from the Japanese woman I spoke with on the phone before my stay was poor and rude. Despite the hotel not being inexpensive, we were shocked to find that my room had not been cleaned when we returned at night. We went to the front desk to request cleaning, then went out for dinner. When we came back, we found that only the bed had been made; the used cups and trash were left as they were, and, for some reason, the sash of the yukata had been placed on the floor. The drain in the bath was also poor, and after using it for a while, water began to accumulate. The staff who attended to me were good, so I don’t want to speak too badly, but for the price of the stay, the service was completely unworthy."
