The Godfrey Hotel Boston
10/10 Excellent
"First-rate experience. Hotel is right downtown in the theater district. Venues and restaurants are all right there. The room was cozy and well provided. Excellent bed. Nice bathroom. Quiet room. Great value for the location. We wanted something right next to the theaters for a weekend getaway and this was perfect. Highly recommended. Great staff. We will return next time we stay in Boston."
"Even before we stepped foot into the hotel I knew this hotel was going to be incredible. The doormen were kind, welcoming and helpful and brought our luggage to the reception desk, the receptionist was lovely and allocated us a room that was available 3 hours before official check in time. The interior of the hotel is opulent and grand and transports you back to the 1920’s. The onsite shop is very well stocked with food, drinks, snacks, toiletries apparel and even has a Starbucks. The rooms were very well sized and had comfortable beds with a decent sized bathroom with a shower. The only issue we had was with noisy neighbours, and with us having a connecting room it made the noise level slightly louder then I think it would’ve been otherwise, but they checked out two days into our stay but it didn’t stop us sleeping comfortably. It’s located almost perfectly and everything we had planned was within easy reach either by walking or metro station. We went to a Bruins game and it was a 15 minute walk to TD Garden which was really easy to navigate. We will definitely be staying here again and I’ve already recommended it to two different people who are looking at travelling to Boston. "
"The place was an easy walk to north end, and downtown areas, the market area. Hotel was clean and quiet. They validated parking at discounted rate at parking garage close by. Overall had a nice stay for one night."
"I love this hotel. The rooms are immaculately clean, the staff is great, and the communal bathrooms are always spotless. If you are OK with not having a bathroom in your room, this is an ideal spot -- great neighborhood, awesome restaurant and bar on site, and a really fun/cool vibe. I've stayed here three times so far and am looking forward to my next return trip."
"I had an absolutely wonderful experience during my stay. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcomed and taken care of. Check-in was quick and easy, and every team member I encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely eager to help.
The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. The bed felt like sleeping on a cloud, and the amenities were thoughtful and high-quality. I especially appreciated the attention to detail—everything from the lighting to the layout made the space feel relaxing and well cared for.
The hotel itself is gorgeous, with clean common areas and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Overall, this hotel delivered an exceptional experience. I left feeling refreshed and impressed. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, quality, and outstanding hospitality."
