"The room was fabulous! My only complaint would be the parking situation. My car was 1 inch too big to park at the hotel carousel, so we had to park at a nearby parking garage. That ended up being very expensive!! And I was afraid to walk back to the hotel from the parking garage by myself in the dark. "

"Property was clean and will appointed check in was easy and a good location for exploring the city with out a car. Location was different as it was on what appeared to be an ally but was a named street not actually on King. All in all very nice."

"Upon arriving at the property we were quickly greeted by the bell hop who doubled as the valet. He was very polite & accommodating as my wife is currently in a wheelchair and he made sure she was able to safely enter the hotel. The front desk was extremely courteous, as well. The entire staff was very friendly and professional. They were all very well dressed and busy attending to the inner workings of the hotel, but would stop whatever they were doing to attend to the needs of the guests. The...

"We loved everything about our stay at Charleston Place the only problem we had was we got caught in a rainstorm and we were headed back to our room and half way down the hotels lobby my wife slipped and fell very awkwardly.She said she was fine but the next day she could hardly walk"

"The property was clean and the staff was friendly. The only thing I would mention is that this property sits in an area of Charleston that is under rejuvenation. While safe, the cost is not reflective of where the property lies. As a result, I found it to be overpriced."

"The staff went out of our way to make us feel welcome. We received a welcome basket with local treats when we arrived and breakfast delivered to the room every morning. There was a happy hour with wine, beer and charcuterie each evening. The room was beautiful and the bathroom was modern and a good size. We have already recommended it to several people and will definitely stay again if we’re in the area."

"This is an older hotel, however it is very well maintained and the rooms and baths are modern. It has a charming atmosphere and a beautiful court yard area with lots of seating. Each floor had a station with a coffee maker, ice, fresh fruit and bottled water for your convenience. The hotel is also centrally located. I would recommend the Emeline!"
