"Lovely hotel and location and friendly staff"

"Great location, large well appointed room and very friendly, helpful staff. No parking at the property but easy to find close by. Bed super-comfy but I am a light sleeper and the noise from the extractor fans (assume from the kitchen) was evident all night and meant not much sleep Restaurant was expensive for what was pretty ordinary food."

"Wonderful price and location. Very clean and basic set-up though kettle and tea/coffee provided. The main negative was that the room was a sauna as there was no air conditioning. They had kindly provided a fan but during the UK heatwave this was insufficient. Having said that, if the temperature was normal I think we'd have had a very comfortable stay. Staff were lovely and super location."

"Celine was amazing. She gave us access after hours, checked on us in the morning and gave us tea and toast after breakfast hours, checked on our welfare, held our bags for us when we went into Oxford, and gave us waters in the heat wave. The sheets were not very clean and the bathroom garage was not emptied when we checked in, but the shower was good and there was a fan and tea provided in the room with decently comfortable beds. A great place!"

"The room was better than the main doors and reception of the hotel. But really want Great mold stain on pillow, bold blood stain on bed quilt, cushions had white stains on them. Hallway smelt of ciaagtte. Didn't go to the pub below. So can't rate it. Was only an 8 min walk from the shopping centre so that was amazing."

"Badic accommodation. Poor value for money. A pub with rooms. You could smell the fried chips when you opened the door in the car park. The staff were jobs worth and not welcoming. Poorly maintained property which felt grubby. My room had a sash window broken so couldn't open it. Only good thing were the bath towels and good mattress. Pillows awful. Make sure you don't have a room on the front of the hotel as the noise from the road is continous through the night. I would not stay there...
