"The hotel can be challenging if you have mobility issues as there are no elevators but they have carts if you need them on the steep inclines. Good location, beach is nice and not as hard to get to as some reviews said. Breakfast was great and included. Meals were good but I recommend venturing out for a few meals. La Cantina didn't disappoint. Loved our stay overall and would come back."

"La Mariposa is amazing! It is a beautiful! The food is wonderful. The pools are refreshing. There is a sloth and cat that live in the lobby. We saw lots of monkeys on the property. The staff was very helpful. We did the kayak tour of the Mangroves set up by the hotel for us. It was amazing and worth the education and fun! We highly recommend staying here!"

"We enjoyed our 2 night stay at Ecotica. The pool area is well kept and inviting. The rooms could use a bit of updating but filled our purpose as it was spacious. The bathroom was small in proportion to the room. The breakfast served was fresh, but the fruit didn’t seem fresh. Nothing spectacular but there were few choices. The major downfall of the resort is the amount of stairs! Crazy amount of stairs in the humidity! The brightest stars were the front desk staff. Allison was the sweetest. She greeted us with a smile and was always there to help us with our plans. Raphael was also very helpful and accommodated our wishes whenever able. "

"This place is truly a gem. From the special attention given upon arrival to the extraordinary hospitality we received throughout the stay, this is truly a resort I would highly recommend to anyone. Couples, families. Something for everyone. A separate adult pool for more quiet but the family pool with waterfall and water slide has adults also partaking in the fun. Laying on a Lounge and looking at the jungle along with the ocean is breathtaking. We see toucans, parrots and more from just laying at the pool on a lounge chait while having drinks and an exquisite lunch brought to you. Tours pick you up at the resort if you want to have a private tour to see the animals or go tubing rafting zip lining horseback riding. It’s all there. Thank you to the staff including kitchen and restaurant staff. Top notch service. Thanks for the memories. We WILL return."

"The very definition of false advertising. Sits right on top of the road, views are of run down houses and on opposite side of a hill of the beach. The beach shouldnt even be allowed to be pictured in their listing. Rooms are covered in mold and mildew. Pool is overgrown with plants and full of dirt. Their is no view what so ever. I've seen nicer restrooms at a truck stop in the middle of no where. Door does not seal, no windows, just 1 inch wire mesh so the room is full of bugs and geckos. We stayed 5 minutes and left and booked another hotel down the road. Staff was 0 help and said nothing i could do and got 0 money back. If i had paid 10$ for the room thats one thing to expect but for the money they ask for this place it deserves less than 1 star. This was listed as the honeymoon suite so i can't even imagine what the other rooms looked like. Avoid this place at all cost."

"We spent our honeymoon in Costa Rica in jaco, Manuel Antonio and uvida. This was our favorite, a hotel out of all 3 spots. Amazing views a fantastic nature feel! If you like puppies when we went, they had a very well behaved puppy named oso always made coming back to the hotel. Feel like home."
