We just completed a nine city stay in Europe, and the Platzl was our favorite hotel. Thank you to this magnificent place. We can't wait to come back!"

"What a delightful and authentic German hotel in a quiet village. The staff were incredible and the buffet breakfast was also very good. The restaurant across the street is excellent and there’s the enormous Neues Schloss Schleißheim palace just meters from the front to the hotel. Hard to fault this accommodation. We will return when we come back next year. Highly recommended."

The rating is because the hotel advertises air conditioning in rooms. It was a very warm week 90’s and the air was not good. All 3 nights I literally had sweat coming off me. For reference I completed an ultra marathon the week prior so that says a lot. Luckily purchased a fan to make night 2&3 sufferable. They should not advertise having air...

"Our stay at Holiday Inn Express Munich North was pleasant. The breakfast was very good, the staff was helpful, and the restaurant recommendation list was great. However, there were a couple of drawbacks: the air conditioning didn’t work well, and it was disappointing that they stopped showing the World Cup matches on the screen in the lobby. According to the staff, they had not paid for the rights to keep broadcasting them."
