"We were only able to stay one night, but our night at the Vallombrosa vineyard was very peaceful. The hosts were very helpful and kind and were gracious to bring me some emergency supplies. Although the property lies in a beautiful setting, it’s important to note that it takes at least 30 minutes to get to Lugano and the lake by car. "I was only there one night, but I loved it. It’s beautifully decorated. The staff was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. I wandered the grounds to see the chapel and architecture. My room was lovely and comfortable. The shuttle to the airport was an easy ride. The restaurant was comfortable with attentive staff and excellent food. I’d love to go back sometime and stay there to explore the area a bit more."
