"We had a wonderful stay at Maleme Mare, right from the friendly welcome. The staff were friendly and professional and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was clean and well maintained throughout, including the pool and gardens. No issue with sun-beds either, there are plenty to go round. The food was really great. Plenty of variety at every meal time. Overall we had a super relaxing week and felt we were being taken care of at all times. We will definitely be back"

"Hotel staff were excellent in particular customer relations who organised a special cake for a seven year olds birthday and were always on hand to help. A free room upgrade and good selection of food on offer all day. Would recommend and would stay here again."

"We came to Crete, Greece for a wedding of close friends. We chose this hotel to be away from the wedding chaos and hustle and stay somewhere quiet and a bit out of the way. This location exceeded our expectations and then some! The food, the staff, the chill atmosphere was exactly what we needed. "We were 3 families staying at Caretta Beach Hotel and absolutely loved it. The hotel is just steps away from the beach, extremely well maintained and unbelievably clean. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed somewhere this spotless! Housekeeping did an excellent job. The location was also perfect, a great home base for day trips to Elafonisi Beach and Balos. The staff’s kindness really stood out throughout our visit. Adonis at the restaurant was so friendly and made us feel welcome every day. He was an absolute pleasure to talk to! Lea and Katerina at the restaurant always greeted us with a smile and Maria at the bar was so kind. The hotel manager, Yianni, was very helpful and gave us fantastic local tips that made exploring the area so much easier. Everything about our stay was perfect. We felt right at home.
