"Pros: spacious, clean, quiet, 2 min walk from broadway, safe area, several dining/mini mart right next door, all staff very nice, lg deck, room is right next to elevators but the entire place was quiet & seemed to have all very respectful customers! I didn't hear anyone the times I was in the room. Code to get in after 10pm which was a plus. CONS: the lighting is HORRIBLE especially for people with sight issues! It's a step above nightlight status imo, just dark &dingey once the sun starts to go down midday. Only the bathroom had decent wattage bulbs. I get wanting to save cost on utilities but there really needs to be brighter lights! Also, the bedroom mirror is useless for tall/plus size ppl. It's college dorm back of the door Tiny, room is large enough to have a larger sized mirror to accommodate all body sizes. (The lobby hallway had a better mirror than the room!) If these 2 issues are upgraded this would be 5 stars stay!! Issues aside, I would definitely stay with them again (hopefully with the 2 cons upgraded). It really is a fantastic place that is close enough to all the action (no uber needed aside from airport) but quiet enough to unwind and relax in peace when you get back to the room!! You can't hear neighbors but you can hear some partiers occasionally during the daytime. if you have littles, or if you nap, I would bring a noise machine and you won't hear anything. All in all, I had a wondeful stay and would recommend to anyone I know!"

"Our stay at The Russell was wonderful! We loved the character of the building and how unique the rooms were (possibly the coolest bathrooms ever!). Check in was a breeze and the communication throughout our stay was great! The amenities and little touches in our room made us feel extra welcome and cared for. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and hope to return soon!"

"Todo estuvo estupendo durante nuestra estancia. La habitación es espectacular, sumamente cómoda, impecable en cuanto a limpieza y la ubicación del hotel es sencillamente genial. El único punto negativo fue el tema del ruido: la insonorización entre los pisos no es buena y se escuchaba absolutamente todo lo de la habitación de arriba. En plena madrugada, una huésped no dejó de caminar con tacones durante horas, lo que afectó bastante nuestro descanso. Aparte de este inconveniente con el ruido nocturno, el resto de la experiencia y las instalaciones fueron excelentes."
