They overbook The Rio to fill their second basic hostel...less well located north of the center of Madrid

Outstanding little gem of a hostel right next to El Matadero Cultural Center, Plaza Rio 2, and Manzanares River. Very comfortable and clean accomodations, they have a fully equipped kitchens and a lounging zone. The best, though, is the costumer sevice which is at a level of ***. Highly recommended.

Muy buen precio para la calidad/ good service

Very good service. Staff is friendly and fast at resolving any issues. Water runs hot, kitchen available. Beds can be a little close together so maybe bring earplugs!

Overall an affordable and acceptable option for lodging if you're trying to keep a low budget. Read a lot about the air mattress, I found them to be fairly comfortable. People in the rooms were mindful and kept noise down to a minimum, the staff I interacted with were friendly and nice. One thing which was misleading was that they have individual rooms, 4, 6 and more beds per room, they actually don't, they have over 8 bunk beds in each room, but I think that this is an error on Expedia's end. I didn't have any issues with my stay there, it was affordable and served it's purpose. I would stay there again.

Avoid if possible

20 bed dorm with 2 toilets/showers and mattresses that need to be changed (you feel the frame underneath). One night was too much
