"Staying at this camp was the highlight of our Jordan experience! Sam the camp manager made us feel so welcome when we arrived and continued to make us feel like family on our stay. The tent had all the amenities you would need in the desert and the bed was super comfortable. Dinner was the true Bedouin experience where they cooked meat, rice and vegetables under ground for 5 hours and then it was served with a wonderful buffet of many tasty foods. Overall I would rate this camp a 11/10! "

"If you are visiting Petra this is the perfect place to stay. It’s less than a 5 minute drive to the sight but is conveniently quiet and serene. The food was delicious and perfect after a long day exploring Petra! The beds were extremely comfortable. We had difficulty keeping the AC on all night but apart from that which I’m sure is fixable (we were too tired to phone down and have it sorted). The room was lovely and the view was fabulous. The staff were so attentive. "

"Stayed three nights in February. Please note that the camp is about 15 minutes drive from Wadi Rum Village and is not in the village as shown by the map. Apparently most of the camps in Wadi Rum do this is to stop guests trying to drive themselves to the real site and getting stuck in the sand! "Overall our experience was amazing, don't believe anything you read online about any worries for travelling here, it's extremely safe and all the people are very friendly, overall this hotel is a great spot with friendly staff and great services, they went above an beyond to make sure my partners birthday was extra special, 100% reccomended and looking forward to staying here again! "Adel and his family were very helpful and friendly. The dinner there was also yummy. The camp is family friendly with a small playground where my daughter had some good time with their kids. Highly recommend the tours too especially the star gazing tour. The tent was clean and spacious. We had stable hot water during two nights. Only issue was the toilet not flushing very well but it is understandable in the desert."

"Petra moon is a great hotel - from the outside it looks a bit old but the rooms have been renovated recently and are beautiful. The location is also excellent for tourists looking to visit Petra. Even more, the staff here are exceptional. My wife and I were in a car accident and I called the hotel to ask for help (everyone was speaking Arabic and we only speak English). "I absolutely loved my stay at this camp. All the staff were kind and accommodating. The food especially was excellent. I stayed in one of the Martian Tents and it was just so relaxing and beautiful. For the excursion I did the 3 hour jeep ride in the desert, and saw the sunset. A perfect time was had all around. I highly recommend this camp! I will definitely be back inshallah. "
