"The property is an amazing old building right in the centre of town, opposite the fossil museum and a very short walk to the beach As others have mentioned it is directly above a burger restaurant, which didnโt pose an issue other than an overwhelming smell of old cooking fat in the communal entrance although isnt noticeable upstairs in the apartment The place was perfectly clean but the sofa has seen better days and the main bed was very uncomfortable. "Really nice cottage. Decor was a bit dated but it was well equipped and a great location by the river, 10 mins walk to the front, and in really lovely location in a peaceful garden. Difficulties booking via Hotels.com and trying to speak to anyone. Be aware, no parking. It wasn't clear on the ad. We found a long stay car park about 5 minutes walk away. Would stay again"

"This is a good value option in Lyme Regis. The building is old but quite well maintained. The ensuite was very good and quite large. The bed was comfortable. The gentleman at book in was very good and very helpful with dining options in the town. All round I would certainly stay here again."

"This is a very old property and so of course it does look a little tired in places and the wifi is not so great but they were the only negatives. The hotel is in a fantastic place right in the middle of the High St and it has a car park which is a godsend. The food menu in the bar is excellent for lunches and dinner. Definitely add the breakfast as there is so much choice from cooked oprions to pastries, cereals and fruit and all of the the food was delicious. The staff were so lovely and couldn't help enough. Dawn the manager even let me use the hotel phone when I was having trouble ringing out. I would definitely recommend this place and the bed was incredibly comfortable!"

"The only main issue was car parking, or lack of it. The hotel has no parking of its own (which we knew) and although two Council car parks within yards of the hotel, yes its free parking after 5pm (if you can get a space) but between 8am and 5 pm its chargeable, but ... maximum of three hours with no return within another three hours. And parking wardens hot on over-stayers."

"We were greeted with a handshake which is always a good start. Our hosts, Neil and Rosemarie were welcoming and eager to make sure our stay was a good one. Our room was spacious as was the bathroom and shower. We were pleased with the coffee machine and the fridge on the landing for the cold milk. The small touches are what makes this hotel a special one. The bar downstairs proved popular to watch the world cup and we appreciated the hospitality during the evening. Breakfast was cooked to order and taken on the deck. The swimming pool was excellent. Car parking is easy and plentiful. One small point is that we would have appreciated a fan in our room which was very hot. Given the extremely high temperatures we are all experiencing it might be something to consider for the future. Otherwise everything was absolutely fine and of a very high standard."

"Property was well located for walking into town inside facilities where good everything you needed for a good stay . Property was very clean fresh bedding and towels and a welcome pack with local products . Only downside was having to continual find a parking space or move car due to parking restiction .website advertised on site parking . Overall a good weeks stay in a lovely place."

"The Apartment, was quiet and just the right size for one or two people to stay in. The town was walkable to the town, but it was the hills coming back up. There was no onsite parking and it was pop lucky if you got a space on the road."
