"We loved our stay at Hidden Garden Pension in El Nido. The price was unbeatable, and even though it is right on the main street, it is tucked away and quiet at night. The garden is a lovely amenity and much needed in what feels like a concrete jungle in that area of El Nido. We stayed in Room No. 1, which is a bit larger than the others. "The place is a bit tired. Our room was small and had no outside window. Not many places to put your belongings other than on the floor. The hot water did not work as the hose was missing. Staff fixed it pretty quickly. Friendly and helpful staff and AC worked so all good. You get what you pay for, definitely budget. It was close to the wharf and walking distance to the busy area. You cannot beat its location. "

"When we arrived, the lady and her husband said there were no rooms available, offered us alcohol and asked if she could bring us to another pension house. We decided to check it out. She took us a block away, opened a large metal garage door, and asked if we wanted to stay there. It was sketchy and felt unsafe. We left and went to the Four Points instead. We’ll be pursuing a refund. Honestly this person should be banned from Expedia."

"Expect that your stay reflects how much you’re paying or less, nothing fancy, the constructin on building 2 is not completely done do not expect extravagant, the food for breakfast was not the best either better to eat somewhere else. The towels are thin, there is no formal receiving area on Ludy’s 2. Not organized the aura/vibe is not welcoming. The owner was really,really nice, very accomodating, other than that there is nothing special in this place. It only looks good in the picture. Please...
