Walter au Lac

"We chose the Walter Au Lac bc it's right across the street from the lake and in a beautiful spot of the town so it was so easy for us to open our 2nd floor window and enjoy the view as well as sit on our rooms' patio deck and people watch. We really enjoyed our stay in this charming hotel. I only have 4 stars for the staff bc when I needed the evening receptionist' help, she seemed to be scolding me and lecturing me about the free Ticino Tickets (for the public transportation) that the hotel was supposed to provide due my booking thru Expedia. We did get them from the morning receptionist (although I believe the evening gal printed them for us). Overall awesome stay there!"

"Excellent pool area beautiful view and a great walk into town - not that far but a steep hike walking back which we enjoyed - you could opt for the bus which is free if you stay more than 2 nights but we didn’t need it and walked in and out of town twice per day. It was a lovely room, view, pool, breakfast with great parking - very lovely and we would stay again!"
