This was a great place to stay after getting off the ferry from La Paz. Secure parking, friendly staff, quiet, restaurant on site and a nice pool, Oxxo a short walk away.
While the location had us concerned, the room was great! We slept well, the staff was kind and helpful. There were a few details not functioning i.e. WIFI was down and was not functioning well enough to access the Hotels.com app
This place was a really pleasant surprise. Charming, clean, beautiful property, safe parking lot, friendly staff. The pool was really nice too though we didn't get a chance to use it. If we take the ferry again to or from Topolobampo, I would definitely choose this hotel again.

This hotel is very convenient when returning to the US from Mexico via the ferry. It is very basic but serves our needs. E have staid here many times. This time, the room was not as clean as they usually are and seemed very down trodden. Desperately in need of a refresh. Several of the rooms on the ground floor seemed to have been torn apart but no apparent work was being done. Usually difficult to check in as staff coverage is spotty. This time it was easy as there was someone at the desk. If we had arrived 5 minutes later, it would have been a different story as she was on her way out. Might be looking for a different option next time.
Nice hotel in Topolobampo. Walking distance to everything. Nice area to hang out. Restaurant/bar could use a revamp but there were great places to enjoy right around the block.
I came for one night to catch the ferry to Baja but stayed an extra night to explore Topolobampo.
It is a very colorful seaside town with an excellent restaurant called Stanley’s that is on a hill overlooking town with incredible sunset views.
The only place to stay when arriving on the ferry. Room was basic, bed comfortable, not hot water for a shower

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
Topolobampo, Baby!
We had a very nice stay. The Hotel staff were very accommodating- they allowed up to keep our motorcycles and extra gear there while we traveled by El Chepe Train to Divisadero for a couple of days. When we returned, the entire town was experiencing some plumbing issues but the staff were able to stay on top of it, for the most part.
Large room and plenty of closet space. There was no hot water during our stay - the entire town seemed to have issues… then while attempting to fix that problem, we ended up with no water at all. The manager arranged for use of a shared bathroom & shower in an unaffected room, that could be used by everyone. Not impressed with the Restaurant on site.
This property is very convenient when using the Baja Ferry between Topolobampo and La Paz. We are generally very happy with all aspects of our stays. This time, the regular employee did not show up for the evening shift. The owner or manager had a gentleman working the front who knew nothing about the hotel or the registration/reservation process. He spoke no English. He did try his best, but it took almost an hour for us to get into our room and settled in. It was already late, so this delay was not appreciated. When we arrived, the office was closed and another guest helped us find who was working the office. It worked out in the end, but someone who was more familiar with the process should have been in charge.
What a truly interesting place! The hotel is kind of 'pie shaped', with a main building detached from the guest rooms, and then the center 'circle' is like courtyard...but this leaves the room's shape like that of a wedge or trapezoid. In all the places I have ever stayed, this was a first. If this building was originally something else, that would make sense. It barely works as a hotel, lol. This was a fantastic stay, thought, albeit entirely quirky and short. The attention to detail, the cleanliness, the service from staff are all without equal. I think my favorite part was how organized the front desk reception area is and how it's run.
If I had to make mention of an area needing improvement, it would be better air conditioning and the option to leave it on when you leave the room. After being outside all day, in 95F degree heat, coming home to hot, humid room waiting for the struggling a/c to cool the room was tough. And there was no cold water...lol... so we just got wet in the shower and then stood dripping in the room to cool down.
Overall, however, the place exceeded my expectations and deserves the rating they have clearly worked diligently to secure. This was the only 'budget' stay we had on our 14-day tour of Mexico so taking everything into consideration, you definitely get what you pay for...BUT, I highly recommend this place either for a single night, or a short stay. It will be quirky, but very eco-friendly and interesting. 😊

Disliked: Cleanliness
