The rooms were small but well appointed. We especially appreciated the blackout curtains and the comfortable bed. The hotel has no lift, as advertised. It was fine for us but the number of stairs (even to the second floor) could be a challenge for some. The location was great. We were able to walk to many locations and for the areas a bit further it’s only 10 min walk to Victoria station or the river to catch an Uber ferry. Highly recommend for a comfortable clean place to lay your head after long days in London.

The only thing to improve is the staff, not very friendly, not very helpful I guess is a thing of British people idk but definitely very indifferent in all aspects! Very quaint hotel. Not a lot of amenities. If you want a place to shower, and sleep this will do the the job. Nice staff. Easily walkable to a lot of area attractions. Not the quietest. We were on the bottom level, you hear everyone walking above you.

Honestly felt staff wasn’t very accommodating and sometimes rude. Also the rooms were so small. I could not shave my legs in the shower as it was so small you could not bend down. The hand soap was in the shower because the room was so small there was literally no counter space to place anything like a soap.

Mattress topper made it the most comfortable bed in two weeks with a shower head tall enough for a 7-footer but barely wide enough for me. Also loved Solo Mio restaurant nearby.

Great stay!

This hotel was wonderful!. It exceeded our expectations, since the room we were appeared to be just renovated. The location is great, especially if you are using bus. We would stay there again with no hesitation.
