We had a brilliant stay here for a weekend away. The breakfast was lovely and there was a large selection of breakfast buffet items alongside a cooked breakfast. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was and added bonus to have water, milk and coffee avaliable in the room free of charge. The hotel is in a good location for sightseeing and exploring london. Would 100% stay here again.

Quiet hotel in otherwise busy area. Excellent staff and good management - every request was met with professionalism and courtesy. Interior not as plush or themed as the photos or name suggest, it's a fairly basic and rather dated pub hotel. Was clean and friendly. Breakfast included is good, carefully presented dishes. Pub has nice atmosphere in the morning and seats to look out of the window and plan your day. Room was rather hot, I don't know why but I asked for a fan and it helped but it was April so in summer I think it will be quite another matter. I think it's the age of the building it just gets hot from the sun, even in low temperatures outside. The downsides of this hotel are worth it for the superb location close to the thriving Southbank esplanade. Waitrose opposite is good and there's a fridge in the room, so you can budget by not eating out for every meal!
