Remembrance Sunday stopover.

Spotless clean, all toiletries provided. Large comfortable bed. Party at the pub downstairs noisy while midnight.

The room was very comfortable and clean. It was noisy at night time being close to a pub especially when customers were leaving also noise from the traffic. No top up on coffee as our stay was 3 nights.

Nice room, looked like the picture. Toilet door was a bit squeeky and you could hear the restaurant guests that where sitting outside quite loudly from room #1 (if you like to sleep early it could be a problem, usually quite after 11 pm)

There is no front desk, after going back to the listing I realized it was mentioned but I think it can definitely be clearer. You have to download the app ahead of time and manage the check in process. Location was great and close to main attractions. No AC just a fan. Room and bathroom were nice.

The room was great, very clean. No issues getting in/out. The bed was firm but we slept fine, the pillows were uncomfortable. Maid service is optional for a fee. There is a TV w/Netflix capability, coffee maker, hairdryer, noise machine in the room (all helpful) and a community water dispenser (you’ll need a water bottle). No air conditioner but there is a fan and heater (we were comfortable). Everything extra we needed was in a closet for us to grab at our convenience (soap, TP, extra towels, etc). We were on the 3rd floor, it was 60 steps to get to our room, a lot of work with luggage, but doable. We got there 2 hrs early and were able to get into the building fine and put our things in storage. There are only 3 luggage lockers for the whole building and they could use more, some people who arrived after us were unable to store theirs. There is a nice pub/restaurant (Jolly Gardeners) just outside the building, great for lunch/dinner/drinks, the food was delicious. There is also a convenience store just outside the building with food, drinks and meds. There was restaurant (Queens Head) on the other corner, they were closed during our Christmas week stay, but looks like it would be good for breakfast. Instead, we had an amazing and inexpensive breakfast and at The Corner Cafe (5 min walk). We walked to London eye (15 ish minutes). The area looks a little rundown and we felt uneasy when walking the neighborhood but were told the area is safe. We would stay again.

The property was right above an active pub which we were not advised about when booking the hotel. Our room was located over the pub exit door, and each night it was busy and noisy until after 11:00pm. ON one night there was a party in the local area, and we were disturbed by the noise until 5:00am. Unfortunately, there was nobody to complain to, except for the local police. The windows in the hotel do not help with noise reduction as they are not double glazed. Throughout our stay of 4 days, our room was never serviced once, i.e. changing towels, empty bins or replenish coffee & tea & milk. There was a cupboard on level 3 which allegedly had plenty of stock in it, however, I visited it on 3 separate days, and the stock had not been replenished, no tea, coffee, toilet rolls etc. As there are no staff/concierge service available, all contact has to go through a UK mobile telephone, but not have outgoing UK telephone access, I was unable to contact the remote concierge service to complain. There was no other option available to contact the hotel. There was no lift and the stairs are very awkward and narrow to carry large suitcases and luggage up to, and down from the room. Overall, not a very good experience, considering that this is a Marriott Bonvoy hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody, unless you are on a cheap weekend getaway. I will never be staying here again and will reconsider using Marriott Bonvoy hotels in the future.

Op loopafstand van big ben ennlonden eye. 18 min lopen van vauxhall station. Je kan ook de bus pakken. Makkelijk met toegangscode. Alleen jammer pas vanaf 16.00 inchecken en anders moet je meer betalen.

Great stay

Lovely clean room, furnished minimally just like I like, comfortable bed , clean bathroom , hot water, nice towels and bedding , great location, the only thing for us was we had noisy neighbours the first night but would recommend this place and would stay again.

Inside the building and the room is clean, updated the water dispenser is a plus, the service and maintenance respond quickly. Contrast with the exterior an alleyway with dumpster asides, one night we back to the hotel and a car parking made it difficult for us to pass

Good sized room, clean and tidy. No air conditioning and room got very warm, a fan was supplied but not that effective. Quite a busy location so could be noisy overnight as no double glazing. Couldn’t find any milk among the essential cupboard items. Overall suited us for our weekend trip as conveniently located to the Cenotaph area and the pub downstairs was excellent for food and drink.

Convenient but don’t expect a good sleep

Hotel is right above a pub where people congregate outside shouting and laughing and just off quite a busy road so very noisy until very late and noisy again early morning when the rush starts. Room is spacious and has good amenities but was a bit dusty and not much care had gone into cleaning/maintenance.

Al contratar el hotel se mencionaba que tenía aire acondicionado y no fue así. Resulta que ninguna habitación tiene. Me dieron una n ventilador muy ruidoso, aunque pedí otro y me lo dieron. Tienen un almacén donde se puede reponer jabón y shampoo, café y toallas, pero casi nunca habían. Mucho ruido de la calle, pues abajo hay un bar. No le volvería a hospedar en ese lugar. Por el precio, hay otros mejores.
