"We visited the Chilworth Manor Hotel for our mini moon after we got married. The receptionist was very rude and abrupt when we arrived to pay before our wedding (before we got married) and made us feel unwelcome from the get go. "One of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever visited. The gardens are stunning and the surrounding woodland feels truly magical, with horses and deer nearby. The heated pool is a lovely touch, though the hours are limited. Breakfast was excellent—fresh and filling. I’d recommend booking lunch and dinner in advance as it gets busy. Reception staff were warm and welcoming; overall service was good, though a little more polish would make it exceptional."
