We enjoyed our overnight stay, was very pleasant , only negative comment was the bathroom was very small, food was ok , at breakfast they had run out of bread and was offered bread that had just been defrosted as it was still cold , but overall we had a nice stay
We booked this last minute due to terrible service from another nearby hotel. The staff were very helpful, attentive and friendly. We had the cosy double room which is very cosy but it suited what we needed. It had a lovely view of the gardens. The only negatives for the stay was the light above the sink (which is in the room itself) didn't work and unfortunately the second night the dogs at the nearby farm were barking all night (this obviously isnt the hotels fault) other than that we had a great stay and would definitely go back.

The staff are really helpful and kind.
Hotel is great and has a really nice kids room
Nice hotel with friendly staff. Food amazing and reasonably priced. They allow dogs to stay which is a little annoying especially when guests leave the dogs to bark in room!
Little gem of a place booked last minute lovely setting and great restaurant and one of the best breakfasts I have ever had on the Road bed was so comfortable and the scenery outstanding
We had a lovely stay at Bartley lodge. Beautiful manor house on lovely grounds. Good value and good size family rooms. We loved that the pool had long opening hours. We had dinner onsite one night which was delicious and kids menu too.
Our stay was absolutely wonderful, the location was perfect, the service was amazing and staff were very friendly and we will definitely be returning in the near future. thank you to everybody who made our stay welcoming and comfortable :)
Beautiful property and grounds set in woodland. Very peaceful location. Very clean throughout. My bedroom was spacious with comfortable bed, and plenty of tea and coffee supplied!

Great location for exploring New Forest area. Family friendly.
Staff were nowhere to be seen during dining hours and while we were walking around the hotel during our stay? Service was poor during our meals.
The building is beautiful but could use a major uplift in the form of fresh paint - all doors were dirty and scuffed. And all the furniture was well past its used by date, couches and chairs all lol tired and we’re sinking.
Some money could be spent on making the interior match the exterior as it’s so beautiful!
Charming older hotel in the New Forest. This is more like an old Bed and Breakfast. The grounds are beautiful and food is good. Run by a small staff who work very hard to make your stay wonderful.
Nice large Manor House hotel with extensive grounds. All clean and well looked after but a couple of areas could do with refurbishment now due to age and general wear and tear. Nice that they allow dogs. Great stay, friendly staff, many thanks.
Highly recommend The Bartley Lodge. All the staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. Great location, comfortable rooms, and the pool was an added bonus.
I was most impressed with the food, Christmas dinner and breakfast were both excellent.
I hope to be back and will be recommending this hotel.
Hotel was lovely. The grounds was beautiful and there were animals close by that were walking around. Breakfast was very nice and the swimming pool too. Lovely view from our bedroom window and clean comfortable room.
I have a mixed review of the Bartley Lodge. It is on beautiful grounds and was one of the few hotels in the area with a (small) pool. We arrived early, and even though our room wasn't ready, they let us walk the grounds and use the pool, which was amazing.
Our room was incredibly hot (granted it was during a heatwave, but our room was hotter than the hallway or anywhere else in the hotel). There was an A.C. unit in the room, but it was broken.
The other complaint was about the toilet, which was very touchy about flushing. We called down to the front desk 3 times before someone came up to look at it. This employee was able to get it to flush, but mentioned that he gets complaints about the toilet often. We were only able to get it to flush occasionally and joked that you had to have the magic touch.
The swimming pool was a lifesaver as was the grounds and gardens. It is a beautiful hotel, and we had good and not so good service there, so it definitely is a mixed review. I would probably recommend it with a few stipulations.
The hotel was ok. I found the staff friendly and helpful. For us the downside was the restaurant. The staff missed things off when we ordered the food.
Amazing country estate. Absolutely beautiful. Front desk staff were helping elsewhere when we arrived so little delay checking in and out. Otherwise unbelievable stay.
