"I am someone who never writes bad reviews; even if I feel uncomfortable, I usually just let it go. However, this time the experience was absolutely terrible. The hotel's cleanliness was appalling—the toilet was filthy, and the room door wouldn't even lock! The staff were incredibly rude and treated us like thieves! For anyone planning to stay in Penang, I strongly advise against staying at this wretched place!"

"Spacious rooms and tidy place. You will meet the cutest and friendliest cat in the lobby my daughters had great fun playing with. There was a small incidental omission on part of the management and they insisted on providing rent free room for the next 24 hrs and would not accept payment. Very nice people. "

"Well maintained. My 3rd time staying in Prestige hotel since opening. Clean and perfect size room for couple with complete amenities. Friendly and helpful front desk staff. Good breakfast with Malaysian flavours. Highly recommended"
"Well maintained hotel at the heart of GeorgeTown.
Excellent location for connectivity to the mainland, via the ferries’ jetty, very close to historical sites (eg the Khoo Kongsi), local eateries and to the lively night scene.
Staff are friendly and helpful (special shout out to Nick and Eline). The night staff during my stay could smile more or just offer a warm greeting.
Breakfast menu is fair and could be improved with more items l(eg coffee in a pot) plus tastier cereal and sausages.
Room amenities are reasonably complete only ergonomics could be slightly improved (eg more flat space to put stuff, localised electrical plug for the kettle and a movable shower head to prevent water splashing onto the wooden door. However I am very pleased there is an in-room safety box and an air conditioner that could be turned off completely when the room gets too cold.
The price is reasonable for a boutique hotel,
Overall I enjoyed my stay here and would strongly recommend the hotel to local and international guests."
"Initially, when walking into the hotel, you’re greeted by wonderful, friendly doorman that helps with getting you into the hotel and giving a wonderful experience when checking in your greeted by the friendly hotel staff when we are initially checking in it was quite a bit later in the evening, he was a fantastic person, and I had questions earlier so when I had talked to him on the phone, he was super friendly and informative of all updates!
Once we got to our room, we definitely enjoy the comfortability and the numerous pillows on the bed!
After being at the hotel for a couple of days, we met the manager. Not due to him not being on the property, but because we were not on the property very much for our first few days. He was very kind and very helpful, providing lots of information and being super friendly getting to know us. Informed us of like previous places he’s worked and how he’s been enjoying this position and he has been running the hotel.
Although it says that there is a airport shuttle, it does not offer an actual shuttle… Was a little disappointed about that, but if you would go on a good time, typically getting to it from the airport is that very expensive and it since the hotel is conveniently located near bus station it definitely makes it even easier if you don’t want to take a grab!
Overall 10 out of 10 would recommend"
"Stunning rooms, excellent breakfasts, and a great overall atmosphere. The breakfasts were generous, healthy, and delicious, with the bread and specialty butters being particular standouts. The design and finishes throughout the property show real care and attention to detail.
The one thing that felt slightly off was the service style. The staff were polite and friendly, but seemed overly reserved and lacking confidence. We were also given a very detailed room briefing on arrival. As it was late and we were tired, a shorter introduction would have been more appropriate, as some of the information felt unnecessary.
A beautiful property overall, with just a few refinements needed in the guest experience."
