Baixa

Baixa combines elegant 18th-century architecture with the buzz of Lisbon's historic heart. Sixteenth-century cobblestone streets wind past colourful buildings adorned with wrought-iron balconies and street art. Bohemian shops and quirky cafés create a creative daytime vibe perfect for wandering. When night falls, this historic area pulses with energy as bars, fado houses, and clubs open their doors. Traditional melodies drift from taverns where authentic Portuguese culture thrives. Metro stops like Elevador da Glória make exploring easy when your feet tire from the steep streets.

Príncipe Real

Príncipe Real stands as Lisbon's trendiest area where bohemian spirit meets upscale charm. Pastel-colored 19th-century mansions with ornate iron balconies line the cobblestone streets. The iconic garden showcases a magnificent 150-year-old cedar tree where locals gather. Designer boutiques and concept stores occupy restored palaces along Rua Dom Pedro V. "The hotel is well situated in a vibrant neighbourhood. The hotel is beautiful with minor maintenance and amenity details. Jupiter Lisboa Hotel – Rooftop & Spa

Jupiter Lisboa Hotel – Rooftop & Spa

8/10 Good
"Location - easily accessible to several buses, the metro, to tourist attractions in Lisbon and other areas; buses were easy to navigate while not being a native speaker. Atmosphere - the hotel itself is laid-back and professional. The guests are more intense than the staff. The staff was friendly and personable. Rooms - small to moderate size, clean and basic. If you are looking for luxury, this is not it. We didn't have a refrigerator or a microwave; we would have appreciated such. There was a mini refrigerator stocked with alcohol and candy bars, not necessarily meant for food storage...but... There is air conditioning. Yay! The air is really good too. The water pressure was excellent in the shower and toilet. There were no issues with the water temperature in the shower. Cleanliness - The hotel overall is clean. Noise level - It was quiet on my floor. They seemed to put couples and families with older children near us (a couple). There were families with young children, but they weren't on our floor. I don't know if the rooms are soundproofed. The only thing I heard was someone continuously scraping a chair against the floor. I could sleep at night without issue, and I am a light sleeper. Not noisy in the streets either; light traffic at night and in the early AM. Dinner here starts around 7 PM and later (FYI). Service - Breakfast buffet is the best; exceeded expectations. Gym open 24/7, worth it if a gym rat. :)"

Radisson Blu Hotel

8/10 Good
"The hotel is between satisfactory and good. It's at the lower end of what you'd expect from Radisson. The bed was really comfy, and I liked the tea and coffee making facilities in the room. But the cleanliness in public areas (elevators, and breakfast room) was surprisingly bad. Spills weren't cleaned up several times. There's a metro station about 8 mins walk away which is very useful."
