A great location as we were attending a wedding. Decor needs updating but the hotel was absolutely fine for our stay. Breakfast was nice too.

Ok, close to conference centre

Close to conference centre. No drinking water and no kettle. There was a coffee machine downstairs but the water dispenser or another machine was not working. Rooms ok. Good breakfast selection

Casino Estoril

Very clean and very comfortable. Very good location right next to one of the biggest Casinos in Europe and close to amenities and the beach. Some noisy neighbours in the next rooms, but nothing too serious.

you must see the sunrise from these balconies!

We love, love, love this hotel. The views, from the balcony, of the casino, park, ocean, and sunrise (or sunset) are absolutely lovely from the third or fourth floors. We find the rooms to be spacious, and the location handy. It is a lovely 20-min stroll, along the boardwalk, to Cascais. We find the rooms to be spacious and well-maintained, and the staff willing to help. We will be back (again)...

Nothing fancy. Super nice staff.

Simple accommodations. Nothing fancy. Great location and very friendly and helpful staff. We had just stayed in the Hotel Evolution, which is a beautiful hotel from a visual perspective, but the staff were awful. The hotel Alvorada was much plainer and simpler, but the staff were much kinder.

friendly service

We enjoyed our three-night stay at Hotel Alvorada in Estoril. The location is handy to the train and beach, and overlooks the casino and park grounds. While the rooms are a bit older, the whole hotel is sparkling clean, and the staff are friendly. We were lucky enough to have room facing the park, and the view was a delight.

Convenient (15 minutes) to Sintra & castles

Comfortable rooms, friendly staff, decent breakfast. Parking is difficult. The "onsite" is a narrow ramp leading to <5 very tight spaces. Best to street park in the hotel spaces in front of the lobby, but they fill up fast (maybe 3-4 spaces).

No irons, not even a cork screw opener for wine - had to open at the front desk. Front desk not as friendly for being representation of the hotel but, they will answer your questions at the very least. Cleaning staff were very nice. Great location Great room

Nice property in a good area. They didn’t seem to have the air conditioning on but we were able to keep our door open to the balcony. 30 minute walk to Cascais along the boardwalk and great selection of outdoor restaurants.

Great location, very helpful staff. The hotel rooms are very old and not well maintained. Cleanliness was poor, bathroom plug holes full of hair and water wasnt draining through. The bathroom door was dirty and had hairs all over it. Not the best hotel for the price. Find an alternative if you can.

On the plus side, this hotel has been refurbished in a modern style and is reasonably well equipped, although it lacks a bar or restaurant. However, the area around there is very well served by restaurants, cafés and bars and the hotel is directly in front of the casino and gardens, and so is excellently located. Additionally, the hotel has a lower level open air car park secured by a gate that you access with a code. What lets this hotel down mainly is the pool quality of staff at the reception. It wasn’t clear whether they were poorly trained or just didn’t care but the service that they offered was very poor. For instance, the instructions on how to utilise the electronic safe in the room was inadequate. When I asked the reception staff for help the only response I got was that they didn’t know what to do either as the safes were relatively new. That’s really not an excuse! Also, although the room was equipped with cups and a kettle, pods were required and had to be paid for, with a dispenser machine located in reception. However, when I asked them to break a €10 note so I could get change for the machine, unbelievably they said they didn’t have any change. It’s things like this, and the absence of any towel hooks in the bathroom or any kind of entrance to the lower level car park (you have to walk around the building and go through the gate like the cars do) the stops this being what I would rate to be a good hotel. These things are easily remedied but I haven’t been
