"We arrived in the morning via the train. We were allowed to leave our bags at the hotel until our rooms were ready. We went adventuring in the city. Within an hour, the hotel called to say our room was ready. Well before check in. The room was spacious, clean and cool. Highly recommend."

"I've stayed here many times while traveling through Mobile. First, to give credit where it's due, I still consider this the best hotel in Mobile. That said, each stay seems to come with a different room quality and a different staff experience. The staff is generally friendly and accommodating, although on occasion I get the impression that some employees are not particularly happy to be there. The rooms are the biggest unknown. "The staff was not helpful when asked for any towels or keys not working. The carpets were extremely dirty. We were told the rooms were pet free and told only a certain floor was pet friendly. I have kids that are allergic to pet dander so this was important. Our floor also had dogs in rooms next door so that was false information. The pets had pooped and peed all over the carpets on the hallway. Breakfast items were limited- when asking staff for even coffee they were out of items within 30...

"This was the grossest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. The floor was covered in random little puddles of some kind of weird wet goo. The bed smelled like throw up. We checked in just before midnight and were too tired to find another hotel or we wouldn’t have stayed. We checked out early and won’t be back."

"The rooms had lots of roaches. One of the refrigerators needed defrosting because a drink was stuck in there. Trash underneath the beds. One dryer doesn't get hot took my $2.00 and the other u literally had to hold the door in order for the dryer to get hot. No ice on either floor and the drink machine wasnt working. The shower was warm water and nothing in the vending machines and NO POOL"

"This location is for passing through only, the rooms are horrible. The beds are just springs, the ceiling has dark spots, the carpet is dirty. One elevator was working while there."
